A private residence high in a Nicosia tower, two thousand miles from the showrooms its furniture came from.
The scheme was led by the client’s in-house design director, and our part was to make sure nothing of that vision had to be compromised. We sourced and ordered every piece exactly as specified, with no restriction on maker, finish or origin, and nothing substituted for the sake of ease.
Then the part that takes the care: getting it all to Cyprus. Consolidation and paperwork, timings and protection in transit, and an installation that arrived as though the furniture had always been there.
This is procurement at its most useful and least visible. The designer keeps the idea, the client keeps the date, and the work crosses the water with nothing lost on the way.
