Founded in 2020 by Emily Ross, who brought two decades in the industry with her, S33 was built on a simple belief: that the design intent should survive the buying. Our job is to protect what the designer imagined, find the makers who can realise it, and hold the budget and the programme while we do it.
Since 2020, our studio has delivered more than thirty commercial, hospitality and residential projects, working with an established network of makers, manufacturers and installation teams from specification to final install.
That knowledge is never finished. We travel to see how other cities make and live, meet the bespoke makers behind the pieces we specify, walk the fairs and exhibitions that set the calendar, and go back through design history to understand why things are made the way they are. It all comes together in LETTERS FROM, our series of creative hardback books, one city at a time.
