2. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details: your name, email address, phone number, company name and delivery or billing address.
  • Enquiry details: information you include when you email us about a project, a bespoke design or a return, such as project type, location, timeline, budget, dimensions and references.
  • Order details: the items you buy, prices, delivery instructions and any delivery or order notes you add at checkout.
  • Payment information: payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.
  • Technical information: your IP address, browser type, device and how you use our website, collected through cookies (see section 8).

We do not intentionally collect special category information (such as health or religious beliefs). Please do not include this in your messages to us.

Most of this information comes directly from you. Sometimes we receive it from others acting on your behalf, such as your architect, interior designer or project manager, when they introduce a project to us.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations;
  • process, deliver and support your orders, including returns and refunds;
  • manage projects, supplier orders and deliveries on your behalf;
  • keep accounting and tax records;
  • run, secure and improve our website; and
  • send you news about Studio Thirty Three, only where you have agreed to this.
4. OUR LAWFUL BASES

We only use your information where the law allows us to:

  • Contract: to process orders, deliveries and projects you have asked us to carry out, or to take steps at your request before entering a contract (such as a quotation).
  • Legal obligation: to keep financial records required by law, for example by HMRC.
  • Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries, run and protect our business and website, and improve our services, where this does not override your rights.
  • Consent: for non-essential cookies and marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.

If you do not provide the information we need, for example a delivery address, we may not be able to complete your order or project.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

5. WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH

We never sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary with trusted service providers who act on our instructions, including:

  • our website platform and hosting provider (Webflow), which also processes online orders;
  • our payment provider (Stripe);
  • delivery and courier partners, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order;
  • manufacturers and suppliers, where needed to fulfil your order or project;
  • our email and IT service providers;
  • our website analytics provider (Google Analytics);
  • our accountants and professional advisers; and
  • authorities, where we are required to by law.
6. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some of our service providers, such as our website platform, store information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

7. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
  • Order, invoice and accounting records: six years from the end of the relevant financial year, to meet our legal and tax obligations.
  • Enquiries that do not lead to an order or project: up to 2 years.
  • Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe.

After these periods, we securely delete or anonymise your information.

8. COOKIES

Our website uses cookies. Essential cookies are needed for the website to work, for example to remember the items in your cart. With your consent, we may also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it.

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies when you first visit, and change your choice at any time using the Manage Cookies link in our website footer.

9. YOUR RIGHTS

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information, where there is no reason for us to keep it;
  • ask us to restrict or object to how we use your information;
  • ask us to transfer your information to you or another organisation; and
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, please email us using the contact details in section 1. We will respond within one month. There is normally no charge.

10. KEEPING YOUR INFORMATION SAFE

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure, encrypted connections on our website and limited access to personal information within our business.

Our website links to other websites, such as our Instagram and LinkedIn pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they use your information. Every marketing email we send includes a simple way to unsubscribe.
