No.1 Portland Place stands on the widest street in central London, laid out by Robert and James Adam from the 1770s and conceived as a parade of private palaces. Two and a half centuries later the address still carries that intent, and the building more than lives up to it.
What strikes you first is the light. It comes through tall windows into rooms with good proportions, and the whole building feels calm before a single piece of furniture is placed.
Studio Thirty Three supplied the furniture across the building, working alongside owners who care about every detail: lounges and meeting rooms, boardroom and kitchen, work floors and quiet corners. High-end materials, tonal colours, and nothing that shouts.
The result is an office that greets you like a home. Welcoming at the door, considered in every room, and in one of the most desirable locations in the city. London at its finest.
