A collection of period townhouses in Marylebone, where the light does the planning. Tall sash windows and high ceilings on the principal floors, a glazed roof lantern above the stair, and a basement that stays dim however bright the day.
Studio Thirty Three supplied the furniture across every floor, reading each room before choosing a single piece. The bright rooms take durable, lighter materials that can stand up to daily use without dulling the room; the darker basement takes soft, deep-pile and brushed textures that make low light feel intentional rather than lacking.
Bespoke desks were made in traditional timber to answer the building’s own materials, picking up the grain of the original fireplaces and the green marble of the reception desk.
The feature spaces stay communal and generous, the quiet zones sit below, and the whole building reads as somewhere to settle rather than somewhere to be seated.
