ELDER YARD

Elder Yard sits in Norton Folgate, the Spitalfields quarter where warehouse brick meets new workspace.

The architecture was resolved and the furniture settled. Our part was everything that comes after: the layer that makes a building feel lived in rather than handed over.

Studio Thirty Three took on the full curation of accessories and styling, working a floral theme through the lobby, lounges and meeting rooms until it read as one idea rather than a set of objects.

At the centre of it is commissioned art: original work by Philip Maltman, and an extended series by India Hobson for Eyes As Big As Plates, the ongoing project by Karoline Hjorth and Riitta Ikonen, gathered into a feature lightbox in the lobby.

Around the art, vintage finds carry the rooms, among them a pair of Mario Bellini lamps sourced through our international supply chain.
