Marble Paint

Marble Paint by St. Leo is a textural interior paint for walls and ceilings. Super-fine crushed dolomite stone is mixed with recycled ash and natural pigments, so the wall dries to a matte, tonal surface that shifts gently as the light moves across it.

It is waterborne, solvent-free and low in VOCs, and made in Scandinavia. Brushed on in soft, multi-directional strokes it gives what St. Leo calls a Shadow Finish; rolled on with a wide roller it settles into a calmer Canvas Finish. The colours are named after streets and places in Copenhagen and across Europe, from Herluf Trolles Gade to Via Aurelia and Rue Alézard.

Somewhere between paint and plaster, and the quickest way to make a new room feel old.
