Mosaico Chair

The Mosaico Chair by Filippo Andrighetto for Marlot Baus. A plain, upright frame in solid European oak, every leg and rail scored with a fine grid of lines that steps up across the back like a run of small tiles.

Andrighetto took his cue from the Mediterranean architecture of Ricardo Bofill, with its modules, rhythm and elegance. The chair was conceived in Copenhagen and is made by hand in Barcelona from oak from sustainably managed forests, finished in natural or dark oil, and made to order.

Simple enough for every day, and quietly the most interesting chair at the table.
