Mosaico Armchair

The Mosaico Armchair by Filippo Andrighetto for Marlot Baus. Every member of the frame is solid European oak, scored with a fine grid of lines that steps across the back rail like tiles, and the arms run straight out of the back to wrap the seat.

The shapes take their cue from the Mediterranean architecture of Ricardo Bofill, with its modules and rhythm. It was conceived in Copenhagen and is made by hand in Barcelona from oak from sustainably managed forests, in a natural or dark oil finish. Each one is made to order.

Built for a dining table, a desk or a hotel lobby, and steady enough for all three.
