Blue Perforated Metal Coffee Table

A coffee table from the 1980s, made in perforated metal and painted a deep, inky blue. The top and the deep apron are a fine square grid, so light falls straight through and the floor shows beneath it, with denser panels marking each corner.

The legs are where it gets playful: each one starts as a solid square block under the corner, then steps down into a slim round foot, like a column on a plinth turned upside down. It measures 45 cm high, 100 cm wide and 55 cm deep, and is in vintage condition.

Pure Eighties geometry. Put a stack of books on it and watch the shadows.
